A dress code is specified and enforced for the sole purpose of providing a comfortable, enjoyable and appropriate environment for member usage of the various areas of the Club. Members and their guests are requested to change clothing in the Locker Rooms. The following guidelines will help accomplish that objective:
Clubhouse Upper Level
Business casual. No denim or shorts allowed at any time. All special Club events will have a published dress code. Tommy’s Bar/Formal Dining – Jackets are required for gentlemen. Ties optional.
Clubhouse Lower Level
1913 Grill - Country Club Casual to include; dress slacks, collared shirts, and sweaters, are allowed. The following are not allowed: sweat suits, tennis and fitness attire, tee shirts, shorts, denim, caps, golf visors and hats (with the exception of Ladies’ dress hats).
Forsyth Grill – Country Club Casual, Tennis and Golf Attire, Bermuda length and dress shorts, and proper denim are allowed. Pool/Fitness attire, caps, hats (with the exception of ladies’ dress hats and golf visors), frayed or faded denim are not allowed.
Centennial Room - Country Club Casual, Tennis and Golf Attire, Bermuda length and dress shorts, and proper denim are allowed. Pool/Fitness attire, caps, hats (with the exception of ladies’ dress hats and golf visors), frayed or faded denim are not allowed.
General – Men’s jackets are not required on the lower level of the Clubhouse at any time. Men’s hats can be worn in the hallways, locker rooms, and outdoor areas but are not allowed in any dining facility of the Club.
Casual dress. The dress is more casual than the Grill areas as follows; proper denim, sweat suits, fitness attire, shorts and proper tee shirts.
The following are not allowed; bathing suits and cover ups, or inappropriate denim. Shoes are required at all times.
Pavilion Fitness Center
Shirts, shoes, and appropriate shorts or pants are required at all times. Proper exercise attire and footwear. Proper exercise attire does not include the following: Open midriffs, Halter tops, Women’s boy shorts, and Open toe shoes
Proper attire is required at all times on the golf course and the practice facilities. All golfing attire will be in good taste, in good order and worn appropriately.
Male golfers (excluding Junior golfers) must always wear shirts with collars and appropriate attire in the winter. Junior golfers (11 years or under) may wear shirts without collars. Swimming or jogging attire may not be worn while playing or practicing golf. All shirts for both adults and juniors must be tucked in.
Golf shorts should be Bermuda style, and of acceptable overall length. Other shorts, including swimming, jogging, hiking, tennis, coaching, etc., are not considered appropriate for wear on the golf course or the practice facilities. Denim, “cut-offs”, tee shirts, tank tops and sleeveless shirts (other than appropriate women’s sleeveless blouses), are strictly prohibited.
Soft spikes are the only spikes permitted, and any shoes other than golf shoes must be approved by the Golf Professional.
Members are responsible for the attire of their guests.
Golfers should change into golfing attire in the locker rooms or dressing areas provided for that purpose. Changing clothes in other areas of the Club (e.g., parking lot) is prohibited.
Regulation tennis attire must be worn by all players at all times. Men must wear shirts at all times. (All shirts must have sleeves)
No bathing suits allowed in the tennis area. Smooth bottom shoes are the only footwear permitted on clay courts.
Everyone must wear a regulation swimsuit. No “cut offs” or leather belts will be allowed in the pool.
Wading Pool – Disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool at any time. Pool approved infant swim safety pants are allowed and available at the lifeguard station.
